Web Reader is a virtual productivity partner designed to cater to your needs of having online content read out loud to you. Its purpose is to enable you to maximize your time and productivity. In addition to the option of reading the material yourself, the app offers various speed reading tools to enhance your reading speed.

• Offline Playlist:

  • Add items to a playlist for uninterrupted playback or read them instantly using the built-in web browser.
  • Once downloaded, items in the playlist can be accessed offline without an internet connection.
  • Easily navigate back to previously played items or save them for later.

• RSS Playlist:

  • Receive reading material directly on your device through RSS feeds.
  • Sequentially play items in an RSS playlist, similar to tuning into a radio channel.
  • Utilize the RSS Playlist functionality as a free RSS Reader.

• Common playlist functionalities:

  • Control playback with ease using the beautiful playback control interface, even from a locked screen or an Apple Watch.
  • Easily adjust playback to a specific position in the timeline.
  • View real-time text being read.

• Read from clipboard:

  • Copy emails and documents to your clipboard and have them read aloud (New feature).

• Speed Reading:

  • Enhance your speed reading skills with multiple tools such as Highlight Reader, Column Reader, and Focused Reader.

• Supporting functionalities:

  • Automatically back up and synchronize saved items and favorites across installations and iCloud-enabled devices for the same user.
  • Save battery life by playing audio with the device screen off (except for RSS Playlist).
  • Choose from a wide range of voices provided by Apple or adjust the playback speed.
  • Comprehensive help videos available to assist you in getting started with the app.

NOTE:

1. As each website is designed differently, the app does not guarantee readable text content for all websites.
2. The app does not consume cellular or Wi-Fi data for audio playback once the text of an item has been downloaded. It utilizes a modified version of Apple's text-to-speech software, which is integrated into the device's operating system.
